To improve wait times for civil and records services, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Civil and Records Division will be updating its hours of operations.  Additionally, the Civil and Records Division has upgraded to an online appointment system for your convenience. The Carson City Sheriff's Office offers LiveScan fingerprinting services for accounts previously established with the Department of Public Safety's Records, Communication, and Compliance Division. 

We cannot provide LiveScan services for the following agencies.   However, we can provide a fingerprint hard card, which can be mailed to the Department of Public Safety with service fees included for processing:

• Monday and Friday: Appointment only from 8:30am-4:30pm
• Wednesday: Appointment only from 8:30am-11:30am; Walk-ins from 1:00pm-4:00pm
• Tuesday and Thursday: Walk-ins from 8:30am-11:30am; Appointment only from 1:00pm-4:30pm
